This track is raw field research turned into a sonic trip. Recorded in the anomalous hotspots of the desert, I intercepted radio interference breaching out from way beyond the audible spectrum. Recording Tikal was an exercise in patience, timing, and deep respect. Working alongside the local archaeologist community and the state of Petén, I secured the proper permits and official guides to hunt for those rare, perfect moments of absolute quiet. Walking kilometers of jungle trails day after day, I captured the true sonic DNA of these monumental spaces. The resulting soundscape merges the heavy, ultra-low frequencies humming from the base of the massive stone structures with the sharper, crystal-clear tones vibrating at the peaks of the forbidden temples. A legitimate, deeply respectful audio document of ancient spatial power.
